Real Estate in northeast North Carolina, Elizabeth City and surrounding areas

At the current time northeast North Carolina remains a very affordable area of the country to move to. Elizabeth City offers many waterfront homes and building sites for sale. Farmland is available if you are a developer looking to expand your business. Condos are on the rise in this area if you resent lawn duties and the caring of a home. Although in the last 5 years real estate around the country at least doubled in value but in most areas quadrupled, northeast NC still offers affordable real estate. To see examples of the great listings currently on the market go to the link highlighted below and look for my "Free Home Search" link at the top of the page. Camden County, NC offers waterfront and country living second to none. The Pasquotank River separates Pasquotank County(where Elizabeth City is located) from Camden County. This is a beautiful river completely natural without industry along its banks polluting it. The Pasquotank River is also a link in the eastern intracoastal waterway that runs from Maine to Florida. Currituck County is the thoroughfare to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It offers many waterfront communities along the Currituck Sound and the North River. Gates County borders Virginia and is growing very fast as many Tidewater area residents are learning about the tranquility that the area promotes. Chowan County (Edenton calls this county home) is a beautiful area with the Chowan River running through the middle of it. This is a very historical area as well as the rest of northeast NC. Overall the area is a great place to raise kids and like I said earlier, to own your first home. We are 45 minutes to the beaches of the Outer banks or the shopping in the Tidewater area of Virginia.
